Even in sunlight or very bright environments, a long underwater range is achieved.
In cloudy/poor visibility (e.g. a lot of sediment) there is no glare effect, as there is hardly any corona (light acting around the light beam).
The LED module enables excellent signaling, for example, in wrecks or caves. Another special feature of the LED module is that the user can easily change the built-in lens/reflector, thus altering the beam angle.
An optional reflector is available as an accessory. This provides broad, even lateral illumination, for example, to see walls or boundaries.

The LED module is excellent in the sea and in local lakes.
However, we recommend the optional dimming for night dives due to the high light output, otherwise your buddy might get very jealous.. :-)
The module has a weak corona formation (light acting around the light beam), so it can still be used well even in murky water

More suitable for clearer waters and lakes, as the light cone and corona illuminate a larger number of sediments and suspended particles.

Module 3600-2000-80 / 5,500 Kelvin
✅ The TillyTec® video module for the Mini uni
Excellent for underwater photography and video recording.
Perfect illumination without hotspots, thus great underwater shots are guaranteed.

All modules have a similar burn time of approximately 110 minutes (TillyTec® 21700 battery), with almost continuous light output. After that, they continue to glow at a lower intensity until the battery runs out.

Scope of Delivery: LED module (circuit board with lenses), without lamp, without spacer

Option A: Order the module only:

• Open the lamp head and remove the old module from the spacer. Screw on the new module and reinsert.

Option B: Order module and spacer:

• Open the lamp head and pull out the spacer (with circuit board). Simply insert the new spacer (with new circuit board), reassemble, done.

All LED modules of the MAXI uni can be installed and replaced within minutes. Use our tool to open the lamp head and a hex key.
